Sahara weekend: 3 days and a night in the desert
A private 3-day / 2-night escape from Tunis-Carthage or Enfidha: one night in a hotel in southern Tunisia, followed by one night at a Sahara camp.

3 days, 2 nights, a lasting memory
Watch the light change over the dunes, then spend the night at a desert camp. A first overnight stop in a hotel in the south prepares you for the desert the following day.
Day 1
Airport welcome · Journey south
We meet you at the airport and set off south by private transport, with breaks along the way. This day is mainly devoted to the transfer. Any visits depend on your arrival time.
Night 1: a hotel in the Douz area.
Day 2
Douz · Dunes · A night in the Sahara
Discover Douz and its surroundings before heading to the selected camp. As evening approaches, enjoy the changing colours of the sand and the quiet of the desert. Tonight, you sleep in the Sahara.
Night 2: a desert camp. Dinner, bedding, transport to the camp and any activities are specified in your package. We select the camp with the next day's airport transfer in mind.
Day 3
Wake up in the Sahara · Return to the airport
One last look at the dunes, then an early departure for the airport. The day is reserved for the return journey, with the necessary breaks.
A late return flight, at a time agreed with our team.
This 3-day / 2-night itinerary depends on suitable flight times. If your flights do not fit, we can discuss a different itinerary or an additional night.

From your departure airport, look for flights to Tunis-Carthage or Enfidha, depending on the routes available for your dates. Our local team welcomes you in Tunisia for your private Sahara tour. Before buying tickets, send us your dates and proposed flight times so we can check them against the itinerary and road transfer times. International flights are booked and paid for separately.

Your first contact is Saif, who follows up your enquiry. Discuss your wishes, ask about the camp and prepare your arrival with a team based in Tunisia. Before confirming, you know the agreed itinerary and services. During your stay, you have a contact for practical questions.
Before you go
Is the flight included?
No. You book and pay for your flight separately. The 20% deposit applies only to the Tunisia Horizon tour.
How do I pay the deposit?
After you accept the proposal, our team sends payment instructions for the 20% deposit. Confirm the payment method directly with us. Vouchers and confirmations are sent after receipt of the deposit.
When do I pay the balance?
In cash on arrival in Tunisia. We will confirm the amount and accepted currency before departure.
Can I choose my dates?
Yes. Tell us your preferred dates so we can check availability and the itinerary before confirming.
Are airport transfers included?
Yes. Arrival and departure transfers at Tunis-Carthage or Enfidha are included. Airports, times and meeting points are agreed in your proposal.
Can we travel with a baby or children?
Tell us their ages and your needs. We check the journey, desert sleeping arrangements and necessary equipment with you before confirmation.
Is this a private tour?
Transport is private for your group. Camp accommodation and any shared activities are specified in your proposal; the camp itself is not exclusively reserved for you.
What should I bring for the desert night?
Comfortable shoes and seasonal clothing, including a warm layer for the evening. We will explain what to bring and what bedding the selected camp provides.
What if my flight arrives late?
This itinerary needs an early arrival and a late departure because of the long transfers. Other flight times may require a different route or another night. Have us check times before booking. If a booked flight is delayed, contact our team.
Can the itinerary be changed?
We can consider different stops, a different pace or level of comfort. Feasibility and price are confirmed in your proposal. Contact us to check the applicable conditions for changes after confirmation.
